Gateway Orlando is a community-focused organization dedicated to enhancing the Semoran Blvd corridor. Our mission is to create a vibrant environment where businesses and residents thrive. As an official Main Street Organization, we work in partnership with the City of Orlando to support local businesses and foster a sense of community. We achieve this by promoting the arts and culture of our district, incorporating music, murals, sculptures, and more into all our events.
Our vision is to transform the Gateway District into a thriving, safe, and inclusive community. We strive to introduce visitors to a multicultural experience that inspires growth, safety, and fun. Our mission is to revitalize the Semoran Blvd corridor, turning it into a space where everyone can live, work, and play. We achieve this by fostering the arts and culture of our district, ensuring every event includes elements such as music, murals, and sculptures.
Gateway Orlando is an official Main Street Organization operating in partnership with the City of Orlando. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our purpose is to help businesses along the Semoran Corridor grow and prosper. We do this by helping our member businesses build connections with the surrounding community and with each other. And with more than 500 businesses and 12,000 households along the Corridor, the business impact for our member businesses is substantial.
Main Street America™ has been helping revitalize older and historic commercial districts for more than 35 years. Today it is a network of more than 1,600 neighborhoods and communities, rural and urban, who share both a commitment to place and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. Main Street America™ is a program of the nonprofit National Main Street Center, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
